How I Wish Upon A Star

Now that we have dealt with the stars of the Eurovision Song Contest, we should also remember the stars above.

The Spaces Shuttle Discovery, has taken off, and for the first time in history we have got a Swedish Astronaut, Christer Fuglesang, in space. I think it is really cool. I remember reading about this guy more than 15-20 years ago. He has very methodically been working to achieve this, and now his dream has come true. Fuglesang, by the way means birdsong, quite fun too!

Google.com search results:”lordi” = 5 660 000″christer fuglesang” – 1 490 000Sorry guys, we’re the most popular again ;-).(Trying to divert attention from the fact that there’s no Finnish astronaut or cosmonaut on the horizon…)

NBA don’t worry like winning the football World Cup there is no Libyan cosmonaut either LOL . But there were a few Arab ones I remember at least a Syrian and a Saudi.Congratulations to Sweden and goodluck to Malaysia.Good to see you all here guys I missed our group !

In fact, this Swedish astronaut is really an Ö (for those non-Nordics here, the last letter in my alphabet) class celebrity. Most of us here are more popular than this guy with his 15 minutes of fame. Check these Google.com search results:red = 607 000 000adam = 147 000 000nba = 111 000 000highlander = 8 550 000If there was thus a popular vote on the first Malaysian astronaut, I guess we’d have the winner amongst our small group here :-).

    Adam, I’ve never ever heard of that song… p/s over here red = RM10.00 not much… ;P

  9. Adam says:

Well Red my dear…I am not sure if you are joking about red or not. I will assume that you are joking because the “red” of that song does not refer to any colour that appears printed on paper…You might have seen the movie with the same title with Pual Newman and Tom Cruise.

nope, I am not a tom cruise fan! Sorry for the misunderstanding, hence the ignorance!
